After much study of the different choices we chose DSTAR because if it's ability to connect to "Your Choice of Repeater" rather than at the mercy of who or how the server is setup.

Most of our repeaters are defaulted to REF019B. All of them are able to link to other reflectors and repeaters by the user allowing anyone access to the system as they please.
